Transition is a project that speaks about the history of Bellelay site, and in particular, in the functional transition that the site is currently undergoing. Using body, sound and image, they explore the resonance of the places, visiting and documenting the traces of a collective past and the signs of life today. In 2025, emotionally close to the history of the site, Julie Milani was keen to return and took her friend Timothée Verheij with her. This was her second visit to the site, this time as an adult. Childhood memories emerge in little specks, blossoming into shapes and sensations. At the age of 3, she visited her father; at 25, she documented the place.
